Meet the Roberts Family

In a world that often rushes by, Brian and Tarmika stand as pillars of love and dedication, parents to a lively brood of nine wonderful children. Brian's role as the Director of Operations at Chick-fil-A showcases his leadership skills, while Tarmika's selfless heart shines as she homeschools all nine children, nurturing their minds and spirits. Their family is a tapestry woven with love and unique personalities: from LaShay at 23, Brian Jr. at 20, Austin at 15, Savannah at 14, Mikanzie at 12, Jayla at 10, Autumn at 8, Jameson at 7, and the littlest, Ethan, at 4.
However, this bustling household faces challenges. With twelve individuals sharing their home, the Roberts family has come to realize that their current living space isn't quite enough to accommodate their boundless love and energy. To add to this, Tarmika also extends her care to her mother, Dale, whose presence adds a layer of love and complexity.
A glimmer of hope emerged when a conversation with Brian's boss, Karen, set a new course for their family's future. Encouraged by Karen's wisdom, they took a bold step and applied for the homeownership program. Tarmika's involvement in the 2023 Women Build for the Williamson family propelled their determination to seize this opportunity with all their might. The moment of overwhelming joy arrived when the couple learned they had been accepted into the program – a life-changing gift that would pave the way for their dreams to come true.
Amid their vibrant lives, the Roberts family finds solace and joy in shared moments. Whether it's movie nights that bind them closer, spirited games of basketball and flag football, or the sweet harmonies of music that fill their home, these shared experiences knit their hearts together.
