Letita Smith

Letitia Smith was born and raised in Cleveland and has lived in her Habitat home since 2011. She’s a proud mom of two adult sons and a grandmother to one grandson. In 2016, Letitia was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. After years of treatment, she underwent a transplant in Nashville in 2020. Earlier this year, she found out the cancer had returned and now takes oral chemo while regularly traveling to Chattanooga and Nashville for appointments.

Without a vehicle, getting to doctors, picking up medicine, and managing her health has been incredibly difficult. Letitia says winning a car through Drive for Hope would be life-changing—giving her the independence she needs to focus on staying healthy and strong.
