Habitat for Humanity ReStores

The ReStore offers the community the opportunity to shop for Habitat’s cause.

The Habitat ReStore supports Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland’s mission by providing funds through the sale of donated items to the community at reduced prices while also protecting the environment by diverting material from landfills.

The Cleveland ReStore had humble beginnings in that started in a small building donated by Whirlpool in 2004. Now, the ReStore has two locations in Cleveland thanks to the many donations and huge support from the community.

The ReStore not only helps build homes homes for local families, it partners with other community agencies to create strong collaborations.

The ReStore is a very green company that recycles unwanted items. When you donate your items to the ReStore, we are able to fulfill our environmental mission by keeping as much out of local landfills as possible keeping our environment safe and clean. The store has kept over 5,000 tons of materials of local landfills. This has saved Bradley County countless amounts of tax money that otherwise would have gone to funding these landfills. The ReStore opens up endless possibilities by being able to turn trash into treasure through do it yourself re-purposing of ReStore items. It’s fun to re-purpose, repair and recycle items that would otherwise end up trashed.

Don’t like swinging a hammer? Volunteer at the ReStores! The ReStore is always in need of people to help assist customers on the sales floor to sort, clean and prepare donations to be sold. Volunteers must be at least 14 years-old to to work in the ReStore, and we invite individuals and groups to volunteer.
